We establish clear objectives and target levels of risk in collaboration with our clients, and from this basis construct a strategic asset allocation.
This asset allocation is an investment expression of our client's objectives. In an ideal world, this strategic asset allocation would not change over time. It will change, however, if the client's circumstances change.
Typically, a Thurleigh portfolio will consist of a direct allocation to bond and equity markets alongside appropriate absolute return and specialist long-only funds.
We believe that by active asset allocation of a client's portfolio between the different asset classes it is possible to capture the shorter term cyclical opportunities that result from changing world economic circumstances and thereby enhance the returns from the portfolio without increasing the risk.
