We know how crucial an initial meeting is with a new client and we understand that this will form the basis of how the relationship will progress. Therefore we ensure that we produce a polished and well prepared pitch, which is individual to your client. We also encourage a free flow of conversation in order to fully understand their circumstances and needs.
We do not believe in a 'hard' sell and we will spend time listening to your client, before suggesting the best route to take. We ensure that the investment manager who will look after your client will be present in the initial meeting with Thurleigh.
We will not produce a presentation that is filled with marketing babble and industry jargon. We keep our presentations simple and explain our investment philosophy and process clearly and concisely.
A tailored solution – no two clients are the same
We will not put your clients in a pigeonhole and offer them a standard pitch document. Each client will be driven by particular tax or personal circumstances and we will structure portfolios based on these individual needs. We are alert to tax issues and aware that other experts may need to be approached before implementing any important changes in how we manage a new portfolio.

Honesty is the best policy
We do not pretend to be immune to blips in our performance figures and we acknowledge underperformance and explain it in the context of investment process and overall policy. We never make promises which we cannot fulfill and we operate a truly transparent service which is demonstrated in our fee structure.
As we have no products of our own you can be confident that we will not bombard your client with our own funds that are layered with charges. Instead your clients will be exposed to carefully chosen external funds and no additional charges will suddenly transpire as the relationship progresses.
Keeping it simple
We understand the importance of offering concise reporting showing a clear breakdown of positions held. We have strong reporting capabilities that allow us to send you and your client frequent and well structured reports.
As with our clients, meeting up with our partners is something we always encourage; however we understand how precious your time is and therefore we will not waste your time with unnecessary meetings. We do not want you or your client to lose sleep over putting their trust in our hands, so we have a structured risk management process in place to minimise the effect of market falls.
